Uptop Studio is a small coworking and shared office space designed to support freelancers and small businesses to connect and work in an open, buzzword-free and supportive work environment. Uptop truly reflects the relaxed and creative feel of the area, situated in a converted warehouse, in close quarters to Fitzroy’s cultural buzz.
As the Community Managers and one of the first tenants of the space, the Sprout team has been with Uptop Studio since its inception in late 2017 - providing consultation on the interior design, brand development, managing social media, and website creation. and undertaking its ongoing maintenance. We support the founders with day-to-day management of the space, taking care of everything from creating a great culture, caring for tenants, and looking after invoicing.
BUSINESS MODEL DEVELOPMENT
We worked closely with the founders to develop a business model and offering that is viable and would attract tenants. Our team also had input into the fit out and layout in a process which transformed the once outdated interiors into a light, open and modern space.
BRANDING AND MARKETING
Sprout created the name of the studio and consulted on branding, as well as created marketing collateral and a website for the business. We manage marketing for the space, including social media management and content creation.
COMMUNITY MANAGER & OPERATIONS
Since launching we primarily focus on general admin (invoicing, receivables, payables) tenant onboarding and community management. We’re also responsible for creating a great, friendly and inclusive culture through activation and engagement, events and activity planning.
